Friday Breakfast!
French toast isn't just for weekends folks! Today I treated myself to some made with Challah bread, it's so fluffy and delicious! I also had some HUGE local blackberries from a farm in Puyallup, WA, and Canadian maple syrup. To the egg batter I add a bit of milk and a dash of vanilla extract. It was exactly what I needed on this overcast Seattle day. We have been having some stellar summer weather lately, but it's nice too cool off for a bit and wrap myself up in some comfort food.
